(CNN Español) — La vicepresidenta de Ecuador, Verónica Abad Rojas, deberá presentarse físicamente en la Embajada de Ecuador en Tel Aviv el domingo 10 de diciembre, luego de ser nombrada embajadora extraordinaria y plenipotenciaria de Ecuador ante el Estado de Israel, según se dispuso en un decreto presidencial difundido este martes.El decreto cita, además, el artículo 147 de la Constitución de Ecuador que prevé como una de las atribuciones del presidente, nombrar y remover embajadores y jefes de misión.La vicepresidenta Abad aceptó en noviembre la designación como “embajadora por la paz” en Israel que el presidente Daniel Noboa le asignó apenas un día después de haber asumido el cargo. Fort Lauderdale SWAT teams arrested a man after he barricaded himself inside a home following a disturbing altercation with a dog. The situation unfolded on Tuesday morning when police responded to a distressing call from a woman reporting that her grandson had allegedly killed her dog at a residence along the 1200 block of Northwest 23rd Terrace.When authorities arrived, the man, known to have mental health issues, barricaded himself inside the home and refused to exit. SWAT members combed the inside and outside of the home, eventually throwing tear gas to draw the man out.
