Jordan McLaughlin could return to action as early as Friday in Memphis after the Timberwolves’ reserve point guard was sidelined for the past month with a knee injury. His return is as well-timed as his departure was ill.McLaughlin suffered the injury in a race for a loose ball in Minnesota’s win over Boston in early November. It was unfortunate in that while McLaughlin’s minutes were minimal at the season’s outset, his impact when he entered games was large. In that way, McLaughlin looked like the spark plug point guard of old.“It was unfortunate and bad timing when it had happened,” he said, “but just trying to keep the right mindset, but continuing to put in my work and trust myself, and I think I’ll be good.”Part of the reason McLaughlin’s minutes were sparse to start the season was because of the way in which the guard played at the end of last season. Upon returning from his calf injury last spring, McLaughlin was never remotely close to the same player as he was pre-injur...Rise in antisemitism causing concern as Hanukkah begins
